This privacy policy clearly and transparently explains how the lexikongo.fr website collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French law.

Responsable of the traitement

The controller responsible for processing the data collected via the site is Artful Batina Creative Studios (Cédric Batina), located in Gradignan (France). Hébergement of the site

Lexikongo is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, a hosting provider based in Switzerland, with data centers located in Switzerland. Switzerland benefits from an adequacy decision from the European Commission, which means it offers a level of personal data protection considered equivalent to that of the European Union. Infomaniak provides the hardware infrastructure, backups, and part of the technical logs required for the proper operation and security of the service.

Lexikongo traite your data personnelles for plusieurs finalités : • Fournir the service of dictionary online (consultation, searched, affichage of words, verbs and expressions). • Manage the creation, the authentification and the suivi of accounts users (Log in, security, roles, historique minimal). • Permettre the contribution to the lexicon (submission, validation, moderation and publication of contenus submitted by the community). • Assurer the security of the site, prévenir the usages frauduleux, lutter contre the abus and improve the stabilité technique. • Répondre to your demandes envoyées via the formulaires of contact or of assistance. Durée of conservation of data

Lexikongo applies retention periods that are proportionate to the purposes pursued: • User account: your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. In the event of prolonged inactivity or a deletion request, certain information may be archived for a limited period (for example up to 3 years) for legal or evidentiary reasons. • Contributions (words, verbs, expressions): published content may be kept on a long-term basis in order to preserve the consistency of the dictionary. If content is withdrawn, the data may be pseudonymized or anonymized where possible. • Technical and security logs: login and security logs are kept for a limited period (generally a few months) in order to detect incidents, prevent abuse, and improve the stability of the service. • Cookies and tokens: the access token (JWT) has a short lifetime (about 15 minutes), while the refresh token may remain valid for up to 14 days. Beyond that, you will be asked to authenticate again.

Destinataires and sous-traitants

Access to your personal data is limited to the people and organizations that need it to perform their duties: • The publisher and maintainer of Lexikongo (Artful Batina Creative Studios / Cédric Batina), for the development, maintenance, security, and editorial administration of the platform. • The host Infomaniak Network SA, for providing the technical infrastructure, backups, and access logs. • Where applicable, specialized service providers (for example payment providers for financial contributions, or email delivery tools), subject to confidentiality and security obligations. Lexikongo does not sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared with third parties only for the purposes described in this policy or to comply with legal obligations (requests from a competent authority, court decisions, etc.).

Data related to Lexikongo is mainly hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA. Switzerland benefits from an adequacy decision by the European Commission, which means it offers a level of personal data protection equivalent to that of the European Union. If certain technical service providers (for example payment or emailing services) are located outside the European Union or outside countries recognized as adequate, Lexikongo ensures that appropriate safeguards are put in place (standard contractual clauses, strengthened contractual framework, additional technical measures) to protect your data.

Mesures of security

Lexikongo implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction: • Encrypted communication between your browser and the site (HTTPS / TLS). • Passwords stored in hashed form and never in plain text. • Role management (user, contributor, administrator) to limit access to sensitive data. • Logging of important technical events (errors, logins, sensitive actions) to detect anomalies. • Regular updates of the technical components used by the platform. Because no measure provides absolute security, we also recommend using a strong password and not reusing it on other sites.

Loi applicable and juridiction compétente

This privacy policy is governed by French law and the GDPR. In the event of a persistent issue related to the protection of your personal data, after contacting Lexikongo and, where applicable, the CNIL, the French courts will have exclusive jurisdiction. As an indication, the court with material and territorial jurisdiction is that of Bordeaux, given the controller’s establishment in Gradignan (France).

This privacy policy may evolve to reflect the development of the Lexikongo service, changes in regulations, or the introduction of new features (for example, new contribution modes or new partnerships).
